9 Month Baby Composite

I love black and white images and had the opportunity to create some for Bennett’s 9 month photo session. There are several options within the black and white spectrum that will match most families preferences. Varying degrees of lights and darks as well as sepia tones are available to choose from. In the future I’d also like to experiment with and create late 1800s wet plate type images.

Mom chose a darker tone for the above portrait and requested that Bennett’s eyes be left blue.

I have been photographing Bennett every three months documenting his first year. At each session images include items he owns that have special meaning for his family. His beautiful black and white receiving blanket he was given at birth has been included in each session. A gorgeous image was captured of him holding a teddy bear. The black and white composite image at the top of the page was created using the teddy bear photo and his blanket. This composite image uses lighter tones and a vignette which beautifully spotlights baby. I’m sure his family will treasure this image for many years. Composite images can be created for families using any item that has special meaning for them.

The image above uses lighter tones while the photo below uses darker blacks. There are many shades of black and white to choose from.

Let’s Celebrate Independence Day!

Celebrate Independence Day with Tickled Teal Photography! Children of all ages are invited to participate in the Red, White and Blue sessions being held throughout July. Children play in the simple yet festive set designed to keep the focus of the portraits on them. They interact with props, hug stuffed bears, and sit in the red wagon. Tickled Teal Photography uses simple designs with several seating and posing options to produce beautiful portraits of your children that you will cherish forever. Families may personalize their session with a favorite toy or a special item that has meaning to them.

The Independence Day celebration begins on June 27 with Two Red, White, & Blue model sessions! One session is reserved for a boy and the other for a girl. Children from ages 2 to 7 may join in the fun! Participating families receive a complimentary session and two 8×10 photographs.

Red, White, and Blue!

I am excited to offer some model sessions this summer and have a few more children join our group! The first session will celebrate our country’s independence with a red, white, and blue event! Two sessions will be offered; one for a boy and one for a girl between the ages of 2 and 7. Complimentary sessions will be held on Sunday June 27 at 9:00am and 3:00pm. Families will receive two 8×10 portraits for their time.

There are also plans to offer a year long set of sessions for a baby girl born within the next couple months. Please contact me for more information if your family is interested in these sessions.
